#59: 5 Things You Can Do Daily To Boost Your Emotional Wellness
You want to be happier, healthier, and more fulfilled in life? Do these 5 things daily.
1. Smile: when your brain feels happy it produces endorphins and sends a signal to your face to smile. When you smile, it sends a signal back to your brain rewarding it and further increasing the happy hormones.
2. Go for a Walk: walking boost the production of stress-busting endorphins and the benefits can be felt in as little as a 12 minutes.
3. Serve others: and helping others, you help yourself. Benefits include an endorphin rush, shifting focus from your own problems, gaining a sense of belonging and decreasing your sense of loneliness, as well as increasing your immune system.
4. Act of Self-care: if you want to serve others it must begin with serving yourself. By practicing self-care you remind yourself that you are worthy of being cared for.
5. Practice Gratitude: gratitude is the strongest of all human emotions and simply put, when you are in a state of gratitude, you’re not in a state of sadness, self-pity, or any other negative emotional state.
